Almost forgotten in the past and only bred by a few farms, the 'German Black and White Niederungsrind' - or DSN for short - has been gaining more and more friends again in recent years.
The dual use of milk and meat as well as the ability to achieve considerable performance based on predominantly grass feeding have contributed to this, as has the search by many organic farms for a breed that has more substance, robustness and less extreme lactation curves than the modern Holstein cow.
We are taking this trend into account by expanding our program of DSN bulls in order to guarantee you a good selection of attractive sires at fair prices. You benefit from different bloodlines and now also from the first DSN polled bull, which has NO Holstein blood in its pedigree.
COLIN P was bred by the Fleischhauer organic farm in Hesse and comes from a productive and long-lived cow family. The bull's mother was crowned DSN Hessen Champion in 2016.
